Project Description

The Orange County Visitors Association had an outdated website that was not serving their members including Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Disneyland, Dana Point, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. Because of this, there were fewer members that joined in 2018.

We set out to build a website completely centric on the city members including deep-dive articles about each city, cultural experiences, luxury experiences, culinary experiences and family-friendly experiences. The purpose of the website shifted to become all about the members and send visitors to the city sites.

In order to build this site, we needed to outsource some work, including the interactive map feature on the site. We hired a hosting company to develop the site on an IP address site so that city members could view the progress of the site. As we made headway on the site, we were able to make any adjustments the city members wanted.

The Process

We wanted to design something for OCVA that helped them stand out from other destination websites.

Here are some screenshots from the OCVA web design and content creation project.
